Located in the Pilsen neighborhood, The Mexican Fine Arts Center
Museum is the nation's largest museum dedicated Mexican art and
culture. MFACM features acclaimed exhibitions - from traditional
to avant-garde - art workshops, theater and music events. At the
core of what the museum stands for is its recognition of Mexican
culture as one without borders, "sin fronteras."
Mexicanidad: Our Past Is Present
This milestone exhibition is the first permanent display of its magnitude to showcase the development of Mexican culture as it has unfolded over three thousand years ago in Ancient America, up to the present day.
Día de los Muertos

beauty, wonder and vibrancy of the Mexican culture by way of this
internationally-acclaimed event which has become one of the most
anticipated performing arts festivals in Chicago.

Festival
The Sor Juana Festival serves to honor one of Mexico's greatest
writers - Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, a 17th-century nun, playwright,
philosopher, mathematician and poet. This fall festival showcases
the rich artistic and social accomplishments of Mexican women.
