Since 1930, Chicago's John G. Shedd Aquarium has promoted understanding
and appreciation of the aquatic world through its education and
conservation mission. The largest indoor aquarium in the world,
Shedd is home to more than 7,000 aquatic animals and nearly 600
species from around the world.

of fishes, reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals and invertebrates.
Aquarium
From the remote fresh waters of the Amazon to the intricate beauty
of the Caribbean, discover thousands of fascinating and beautiful
aquatic animals. Watch divers plunge into the 90,000-gallon Caribbean
Reef to feed sea turtles and Caribbean fishes, including sharks
and green moray eels, while answering questions through an underwater
microphone.
Oceanarium

session from poolside, take a walk through the Pacific Northwest
coastline to encounter sea otters and harbor seals and observe

the animals in their environment.
